ABOUT SIMON
Dr Simon Assor is an experienced dental practitioner and dental expert witness with over 30 years' clinical experience in general and private dental practice.
His clinical background includes general dentistry, restorative dentistry, implant dentistry and the management of complex dental cases.
Alongside his clinical practice, Simon undertakes medico-legal work and accepts instructions from both Claimants and Defendants in dental negligence and personal injury matters.
He prepares expert reports addressing Breach of Duty, Causation, Condition and Prognosis, together with preliminary screening opinions, supplemental reports and responses to Part 35 questions.
Simon is a Full Member of the Expert Witness Institute. He holds the Cardiff University Bond Solon Expert Witness Certificate and a Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Law and Ethics.
Simon understands that his overriding duty as an expert witness is to the Court. He is familiar with the requirements of CPR Part 35, Practice Direction 35, and the Guidance for the Instruction of Experts in Civil Claims.
He accepts instructions only in matters that fall within his own knowledge, training and clinical experience.
